I don’t know if it’s only me, but I’ve been seeing a lot of Spider-Man fics where he’s in Gotham transported or transmigrated and I’ve seen so many at this point let’s change it up. Put Miles Morales in there or another superhero. My personal favourite pic would be Ms Marvel because I love her so much and she would handle it like a pro

Right, so I've been mulling on this one for a little bit now, n I'm not opposed to writing something for you, I'm just not... entirely sure what to write? Because the thing is, myhouse.wad doesn't actually really have anything to do with Doom as a story. Sure, Doom is important in that it's the vessel through which the story is told and one of the connections between the narrator and his dead companion. But as far as Doom itself goes, and the story about a man who was too angry/stupid to die, fighting demons and saving earth, none of that is at all relevant to myhouse.wad and its story. For all intents and purposes, Doomguy isn't actually a character in myhouse.wad. So I'm not really sure how exactly to fit him in there.

Was genuinely pondering why fanfiction gets held to a higher moral standard compared to published books when it comes to content, and then i realized its because nobody on tumblr reads published books. All they read is fanfic and thus all the discourse centered around what is and isnt okay to write is always about fanfiction.

Fandom: Baldur's Gate (Video Games) Word Count: 1,528 Tags: Missing Scene, worldbuilding with legos and no i am not reading the instructions, Rolan needs a wizard big brother and Gale is here, Gale: you need a mentor, Rolan: yeah i know i'm looking at him, Spoilers for Act 3 (Baldur's Gate 3), Location: Sorcerous Sundries (Baldur's Gate), wizards help wizards because some of us are late to the game Summary: When meeting Rolan in Sorcerous Sundries, Gale is shocked to see the man still dressed in the robes of an novice. So he takes it in to his own hands to see Rolan kitted out with the wizarding indicators of talent appropriate to his station.

y'know those videos where it's like "if you never had a big sister teach you this, let me be your big sister, let me teach you this"? it's that, but it's Gale teaching Rolan the basics of operating in the wizarding sectors of a city. also Gale 100% does not realize that that is what he is doing, because of course he doesn't.

also, unless AO3 is lying to me, this is the first fic of Rolan and Gale just being bros? no ship just friends? hot take: they should be bastard wizard besties. nemeses in a way where it is enrichment activity for both of them. everyone get on that.
